How to Apply:

The Perrin Family Foundation no longer accepts unsolicited Letters of Inquiry for the Collective Youth Leadership grant program. However, if your program embraces an authentic collective youth leadership approach and your program plans to engage in sustained youth organizing work in the near future, please send us an email so we can include your group in future training opportunities.

Organizations interested in submitting an application to the Youth Led Social Change grant program must:

  1. Engage youth in under-resourced communities within the state of Connecticut.
  2. Have non-profit tax-exempt status or have a formal arrangement with a tax-exempt organization that will serve as their fiscal agent.
  3. Align closely with the criteria described in our Youth-Led Social Change program guidelines.
  4. Be able to answer “yes” to all of the questions on the PFF Partner Self Assessment tool.

A Letter of Inquiry (LOI) should describe your organization’s mission and youth-led social change program, clearly explain how your efforts align with PFF Guidelines and detail your specific funding request. Please limit the LOI to no more than two pages.

Letters of Inquiry (LOI) are reviewed on an ongoing basis and must be submitted at least 8 weeks in advance of the fall or spring full grant application deadline.
